Connecting ADHD and Birthdays
A new study shows that the youngest children in a classroom are more likely to be diagnosed with ADHD than their older classmates. This means some children might be receiving the wrong diagnosis. Midweek’s Cara Stern finds out what this study means for psychologists and teachers.

More Infant Boys Stay “Intact” as Parents Reject Routine Circumcision
More boys are keeping their foreskins, as parents turn away from routine circumcision. Midweek’s Kristy Cameron spoke with parents and activists about why they want doctors to put down the knife.

Google Cycling Maps Come to Ottawa
Cyclists in Ottawa are hitting the trails and finding new shortcuts with Google’s brand new cycling maps. The application has made its way to Ottawa, and now, cyclists can share their routes with fellow bikers through this crowdsourcing map. Midweek’s Melissa Schilz has the story.

Going Homeless for a Cause
Five students at Carleton University are going homeless for five days in order to raise awareness about homeless youth in Ottawa. The group hopes to raise over $10,000 for Operation Come Home. Midweek's Rob Nettleton checked in on the group throughout the event to see the students in action.
