Welcome to the School of Journalism
and Communication
Jobs & Apprenticeships Program website
Every year, hundreds of talented students graduate from Carleton University’s prestigious journalism and communications programs and enter the working world. Hundreds more are available for apprenticeships and
part-time or full-time jobs during the academic year and the summer months. This site brings together our highly qualified and multi-skilled students and recent graduates with employers in the fields of both journalism and communication.
In order to be eligible for the School’s Apprenticeships Program you must be a senior student enrolled in one of our Journalism degree programs.
For those students enrolled in Communication Studies, please contact the Co-op office (Karen Kedrosky at karen_kedrosky@carleton.ca) or your Undergraduate Supervisor to inquire about available opportunities.

Student Login
Students entering BJ3 or MJ1 years of the Journalism program will be assigned user login information (user name & temporary password) at the beginning of the fall term via your My Carleton account (Connect account email). Just follow the instructions to log in.
Don’t forget to update your information and change your temporary password when you first access the site. It is important to use your Connect e-mail account, as that is the only address that will be used to send any group email.
If you are a current account holder, your account remains valid.
If you have any difficulties with your account, please contact Cindy Kardash-Lalonde at
