The 20th annual Charity Ball will be held on
Saturday,
February 3rd, 2007 at the Museum of Civilization.
In 2007 Carleton University will hold its 20th annual Charity Ball. The purpose of the ball is to generate funds and awareness for local charities important to Carleton's student body. Since the ball's inception in 1988, it has become one of the largest and most successful events of its kind in Canada.
The proceeds of Charity Ball 2007 will be donated to the Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind and Hopewell House. More information about these organizations can be found in the section labelled ‘This Years Charities’.
The theme of Charity Ball 2007 is "20 Years of Champagne Dreams." With music from a DJ and a live band, dancing, drinks and good friends, we hope the entire ball will be a dreamful night for everyone!
Tickets go on sale in January 2007, and will be sold on campus at various locations. You can pick up your tickets in the RRRA and CUSA Offices, or at any of our fundraising events. Visit the tickets section of our website for more information on when, where and how much.
Don't forget to check out our pre-ball promotions and fundraising events, like our Dunton Stair Climb, Bake Sale, or our Pub Night!
Charity Ball is always in need of sponsors to assist in raising funds for our featured charities, and to supplement the costs of the Ball. If you are interested in being a sponsor of Charity Ball 2007 please contact the committee.
Charity Ball is an 18+ event! Proper ID must be presented at the door in order to purchase alcoholic beverages. The Charity Ball Committee strives to make Charity Ball an accessible event. If for any type of accessibility reason you have difficulty attending, please contact the committee chair. |
